COAS calls Ghani, asks for assistance in recovery of crashed helicopter crew

LAHORE: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif telephone Afghanistan's President Ashraf Ghani to request assistance in the safe recovery of the helicopter crew that crash landed in Logar province on Thursday night, said DG ISPR Asim Bajwa.

Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) said Ghani assured "all possible assistance" in the recovery of the crew, which included a Russian navigator and officials of the Punjab government.
